ZIS-110. Favourite Stalin’s Car. 

ZIS-110 was a limousine from ZIL introduced in 1946. The 110 was developed from the reverse engineering of a 1942 Packard Super Eight[1] during 1944. The first 5 prototypes were completed by August 1945. It was powered by a 6-litre, 8-cylinder engine producing 140 hp (104 kW) and giving a top speed of over 140 km/h (87 mph). It was made in both sedan and convertible versions.

GAZ-M20 Pobeda. The GAZ-M20 “Pobeda” (Russian: ГАЗ-М20 Победа; Победа means “Victory”) was a passenger car produced in the Soviet Union by GAZ from 1946 until 1958. It was also licensed to Polish Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych. The Pobeda has 2.1 litre sidevalve straight-4 engine producing 50 hp (37 kW) and top speed of 105 km/h (65 mph)


ZIL-111. Yuri Gagarin’s car. After unsuccessful tests with the prototype ZIL-Moscow in 1956 [3] the ZIL-111 was introduced from ZIL in 1958. The styling was inspired by the mid-1950s Packard,[4] a United States automobile manufacturer. It was powered by a 6.0 L V8 engine producing 200 hp (150 kW) connected to an automatic transmission (a copy of Chrysler’s PowerFlite)[1] giving a top speed of 170 km/h (106 mph).



Chaika production consisted of two generations. The mark 1 Chaika, the GAZ M13, was produced from 1959 to 1981, and is the more famous and more numerous with more than 3,100 examples built during the 22 year production run. The M13 was powered by a 195 horsepower (145 kW) 5.5L V8 and driven through a push-button automatic transmission of a similar design[citation needed] to the Chrysler TorqueFlite unit. As a limousine-class car, Chaikas were available only to the Soviet government, and could not be purchased by the average citizens. However, citizens were allowed to rent Chaikas for weddings. Chaikas were one step down from the more prestigious ZIL limousines, and were issued to top professionals, party officials, scientists, academics, and other VIPs. For their larger size and more powerful V8, Chaikas were also ordered in some quantity by the KGB. Nikita Khrushchev, although entitled to a ZIL, was known to prefer Chaikas, and kept an M13 at his summer dacha. Top speed was 99 mph (158 km/h)
